What a thought provoking topic. Can’t wait!
what song is that? its good!
I forgot until noon on Monday, but Tuesday morning I made sure I said “Yes” God first thing. Then I asked him what he would like me to do.
Later in the day, a lady I had not seen for 2 years called to ask a favor of me. She had done something very hurtful over 7 years ago and I had spoken badly of her to other people.
I knew immediately that God was asking me to help this lady. I freely answered “Yes”.
Hello, I am Toni and I live in fear.
The fear I live in is that I don’t understand what it is God wants of me to do. I was moved by Tobys message on Sunday and early in the week I said Yes to God. I wish I had a story like others here, but I have had so many things go wrong this week. I am close to giving up. My laptop burned up, and I was unable to do my work. My boss decided that my work is unacceptable anyway and went on a rampage, I responded with a very defensive attitude and perhaps will not have a job Monday. One of my adult children is about to go through a very ugly divorce which is very upsetting and distracting to me.
I have seen God’s power work in my life, especially when I finally said yes to getting clean and sober about 5 years ago.I have seen the marvelous way God changed my life and gave me life instead of death. Now I am perplexed and live in fear that the bottom is going to drop at any moment.
Yes God………
I will do what you ask of me, but what might that be?
I am unsure now. I thought I had been saying yes all along.
I feel no peace at this time and hopefully peace will come.
I am in awe of the leap of faith I witness at this mornings service. I can only imagine presenting the concept of giving every family $50 to help someone else. What a concept. I love it! I can hardly wait to see how God uses my family. This is awesome. I am honored to be a child of God in Flower Mound Texas. God Speed to all! Say, Yes God! I am willing! I am waiting for the question! Peacefully!
